    Thus, the beginning of the end.

    That is why the bottom feeder outfits of today are still paying 1980 wages.

    The same wages as in the year trucking was deregulated.

    If anyone can, PLEASE post, upload, or comment the old rules and regulations they know of! I remember reading a rule in an old Commercial Driver handbook of rules & regs that stated "every driver is to be given 15 minutes to update their status of duty change whenever asked to surrender their logs for an inspection" also "Drivers are hereby designated to administer first aid in EMERGENCY situations until first responders arrive". Of course, this was all PRE- FMCSA!
