Don't show your colors so easily (Gary). I don't need to log on under a different name. Make sure you get your accusations straight. It doesn't look good for you. You should be glad M&H Logistics has competition. It will take some of the load of you and your two brothers trying to run 20+ trucks at a time. Must be really stressful. Especially for Danny. Poor guy, his blood sugar gets high and he has to apologize to paying customers (like us) for yelling at us.

On a serious note, you should really look into getting medical help for him. Diabetes doesn't kill you, it's what it does to your internal organs (heart, kidneys, eyes, etc) that complicates your life. Have his hemoglobin A1C checked. If it's over 6.4, he needs to start managing his blood sugar better. If it's WAY over that (i.e. above 8 he is in serious trouble if he doesn't get it down to normal levels. For your brother's sake, and your family's, get him to manage it!

One last thing --- You'll notice that you won't get banned here for what is being said about M&H Logistics, The Dispatch Service, The Truckers Report, me, McGoo, DoughBoy, Bosko, and others that escape me right now. Plus, you'll see that when you log in tomorrow, your log-in will still be valid, even though you made a false accusation, lied about something, or said something to hurt someone's feelings. It makes you feel like we are indeed in the USA!

Blessings to you and your family.

    Much Success!

I remember Sean saying how one his runs Garry claimed was 1000 miles, but by the time Sean was done he had 2000 miles on the clock...

Ha ha, I just wanted to put my experience with M&H on here so people can see that theres two sides to every story. You've helped me here by admitting that only one of you on here have ever worked with M&H. This thread reads like a bad case of jealousy.

One of you mentioned Sean, thats Oregon, right? Yes, look at that guy go, look at his loads. He moves freight and vehicles, Who do you think taught him to mix it up?

Time for me to go load.

Wow, this thread started out weak and degenerated.

Since I have no experience with, and have no means of interacting with M&H, and I really don't know any of you, I'll just give you my observations.

    1. Despite countless forum posts and blog posts about the dangers of leasing your truck to companies that actually depend on moving stuff to make money, and to trucking companies that sign up lease operators on a "lease to own" scam, it seems that a large number of people have been willing to, as greenhorns, sign up to exclusive dispatch with M&H. Ehh, really? Not only do they have no real skin the game (you pay them, and you apparently pay them even if they don't enable you to be profitable) as far as your long term profitability goes, they want to stop YOU from helping yourself, by sitting around and waiting for them. This is a giant red flag. If you did, and didn't leave when the evidence said to, then it's STILL YOUR FAULT.

    2. If you're going to be in business for yourself, and you fail, ultimately, it is YOUR fault. It is up to you to decide whether or not you're going to trust people, and when to pull that trust and move on to someone else. If you fail, go broke, etc, and you've not addressed the cause, then YOU SUCK AS A BUSINESSMAN. So, for those of you blaming them for your troubles, or for failing, ehh, own up to it, you made the choice in the first place.

    3. Gary's way is only 1 way of apparently many. You can choose that or choose otherwise. If you don't know what you're doing enough to do anything other than what someone else says, then you still made the choice and it's STILL YOUR FAULT. ( don't rag on me, I've done the same and experienced business failure... I know this lesson by the worst kind of experience)

    4. Does everyone who use M&H fail? I doubt it. Does everyone leave? I doubt it. So, at least some are staying on, or they'd get out of the business. Do we REALLY know the turnover and failure rate? No. But we know the industry, as a whole, has abysmally horrible survival rates. But, I doubt it's all that much worse than the average failure rate for new businesses, 80% of which fail in a short time.

    5. All this sniping at each other, and refusing to show your cards? That's kid stuff. Let's all grow up a little. That's not to say that you should not say that they failed to keep their end of what you perceived as a bargain between you - you pay them, they keep you busy and profitable. If they did not, then criticism and public warnings are truly warranted.

I was there in 2007 & can say either you are posting this directly from M&H HQ in Phelan, CA or you are completely full of ****. It is not that Gary/Danny are not nice enough guys, but load board lottery on lightweight trucks is not the pathway to making it work in trucking. Too many variables & it is recommended to the o/o to have pretty close to new equipment. That is fine & all, but I personally know 6 guys & all say the exact same thing redundantly. Too many miles loading/dropping multiple items & too much sitting in a truck stop or hotel. Their $2.50 a mile loads are much closer to $1.20-$1.40 per mile in real world miles. You know, the sort that roll over your odometer. They will not even begin looking for freight to reload until you are completely empty & sitting no matter what. Again 6 guys including myself were there & it was all the same.

Hotshot works for oilfield with consistent freight & LTL works well for regular customers who do not have enough warehouse for things they need on the spot or in a great economy. The latter has not existed since 2006. None of the options listed work well long term rolling around playing a freight board lottery system in a 3500/4500 truck & overpriced gooseneck. Much less using it to climb the big hills in the 11 western states.

So your point about jealousy is anything but as no one is jealous of a new o/o losing everything.

Oh & as far as your numbers you posted about the $180,000. Complete & total bs. Every guy that I know all averaged the same within 2 grand a month & there are simply nowhere near enough months in a year to get to that 180,000 mark under their system. Again all fact & all had the recommended equipment & solid work ethics. Just look at their forum, why is it s constant revolving door & why is the for sale section filled with new equipment? If people were making money over the years they would stay with their investment. This is not a company gig that you can just bail for no reason, they are bailing because the money is not there.

You are more than welcome to keep defending this screwed up business practice, but I can bring more o/o's who paid M&H to load out their trailers & respond to this thread if you like?
