Unless your laptop is hardwired somehow into your truck- it won't be accepted as an EOBR. Keep forgetting the link but somewhere on the FMCSA website, you can get the details ( or at least find out where to start) on that. Over here we have them as part of our QualComm system and as such, totally secure from being messed with by the driver with the exception of those lines we are allowed to edit- the line 3(driving) is not one of those lines.
Good luck on your TND720 driver. Hint- wrap it's power cord once or twice around the mount and secure it with duck or electrical tape. You will want to keep the plug just as secure as you can from motion inside the device.Bigdubber Thanks this. -
