From a former Ashley driver, what 'olhand cites is absolutely true. The only part I can't corroborate is Canada, I only went there once and it wasn't a big deal but that was pre-9/11.

You have too live within 100 miles of where they have an opening, like Ecru MS, Atlanta GA, etc. No openings in Alabama----

If you would like like a copy of there drivers news letter, send me your e-mail and I will send it to ya, it has openings and locations listed.

If you qualified, for an opening, they will let you relocate to it.

 

I ran with ashley for 8 plus years out of shippenville pa.they had a drop yard there that they closed when they went to leesport pa.they told me I could transfer and they would pay for my move.went to arcadia wi.they gave me 5000 dollars to move with said I could use tractor trailer to move just pay fuel.this company pays very well you will receive trash bonuses twice a year about 200 300 dollars,mileage bonuses for all miles driven at .1 cent first year .2 second year.when I left I was making 70000 a year as a company driver.and yes you will go to places were you should not put a truck so if backing down a alley of a two lane street aint your cup a tea stay a way.over all a fantastic place to work.

 

I was at a beer brewery the other day and I saw an Ashley Furniture truck getting loaded there... Question; where in an Ashley furniture gallery can know find the beer section.
