That's good news awjones! When you take the test for your permit, do you plan on getting all the endorsements or just what is needed for Millis? I'm thinking it would be beneficial to have them all in the long run so that is probably the route I will go when the time comes. Best of luck to you!

 

Does Millis pay for their orientation and training?

 

your pay starts once your in your trainers truck and doing otr training.. 3 weeks of school and the 3 days of orientation are not paid. Your hotel room is financed but you will probably have a roommate. They deduct $10 dollars for your Hotel bill and $20 dollars for your school bill every week once you have your own truck. Atleast this is to the best of my knowledge.

I was told you get 71.50$/day for training for the 3 1/2 weeks. At Cartersville facility at least.

 

Im pretty sure this is wrong... Today is my last day at MTI .. Im sitting in the hotel in Cartersville Ga. They dont even ask for your direct deposit information until after you complete the 3 week course. Unless something drastically changed in the 2 weeks and 4 days I have been here.. you do not receive training pay while in school. It starts once your in your trainers truck. I dont know why they would charge you $500.00 to start class then pay you for going?
