Anybody do LTL in Florida?

    Sitting here in Fort Pierce today and the ltl rate is three pennies a mile so it seems.
    i'm asking myslef why did I come back down here?
    I wish my truck had peedles so I could save some on fuel to leave

    I know. I had some stuff available but didn't even mentioned here so I don't get killed, but I had reefer / dry freight that got booked for $ 1.00 a mile. I don't even like to answer those calls...

    I hope I don't come back for awhile 1.50 a mile full load rate fuel 4.35 a gallon, homeward bound empty.

    Con-Way Freight is a nice company to work with the lots of benefits, you can make a good money but No job security.. long hours and high expectations..

    $1.50 out of Florida? You can only hope it gets that good right now. 80% of the trucks are moving for less than that!
