Yah you'd think they'd keep it higher to attract more ICs? like I said, I don't know much about the ICs. Yep yep. to the rest.

I had heard that some drivers left when they took away the 800 mile weekend guarantee. But they had to cut back and they never lowered the pay. Now that things are better, they returned it.
We will just have to wait and see how it all goes.

Yep but you have to know sewerman's real name. The guys in the shop don't know him by his trucker board name. And The guy in the shop that looks like the true bears Superfan? If he's giving the backrub, just tell him to go easy on the Gojo.

I don't know guys.... I am still not sold on the idea of changing the Bonus program- but you have to remember that I am on a Dedicated account, and we have yet to find out what the concoction they dream up for us ends up looking like. I have heard rumors that the design for it will be based on ALL of the dedicated drivers performances over the last year collectively- in order to determine some sort of comparable "baseline" to base the structure off of. Problem for ME if that is true is: some of the other dedicated accounts have up to as much as 50% empty miles, some other accounts never come close to the weight we pull, and the other accounts are not going in and out of Butler Valley once to three times each week. I am really worried that this change that is coming is going to be a very negative change. Oh well, guess I will have to start figuring out a way back to OTR if this comes to pass. I average 5-6 loads/reloads (all tarped) each week. Work way too hard to take a pay decrease. SO maybe I could start taking it easy like the rest of you guys out there in the OTR divisions LOL! :biggrin_25525:

That is why I only lasted a week on the Worthington Steel account. Too much work, rushed all the time and less pay! Now I just sit back and enjoy the ride!

I was only on the RAT division board for about 2 months when I first started before coming over to this account. And from my experience in both RAT and Dedicated, I could not agree with you more- ALOT MORE WORK on dedicated, and yes, RUSHED is putting it MILDLY. And now that freight has picked back up for you OTR guys, you guys are now getting more miles in each week than we are again. We stay pretty consistant on miles, even when you guys are having the slow period though. I was telling Evil_E the other night how I WISH I COULD HAVE JUST ONE DAY where I do nothing but drive. That would be fantastic.

    Evil_E Thanks this.

I've been driving for 4 months solo, and I can probably count on 1 hand the number of days of "just driving" I've had!

Yeah, exactly! You CAN count on one hand those days. For me, it would be on NO hand.
