Yah, hate when that happens, now when i'm sent to pu a preloaded trailer, 1st thing I do after hooking onto it is make sure all the lights are working, all the tires are good, and the landing gear can be cranked up, and the trailer brakes will release, THEN I secure and tarp. That way help can possibly be on the way while I'm securing, tarping. All the issues I mentioned are ones that have happened to me at Charlotte Pipe locations. Just curious, did the new trailer swap macro automatically get sent to your qualcom when you arrived? Last time I got a preloaded trailer, (CMC BIRMINGHAM) both macros were sent to me automatically. One was one to fill out on the trailer I was picking up, and the other was one to fill out on the one I was dropping. This is Mavericks new way of tracking down the drivers that leave their obvious problems for others to fix and it is part of the new PFP system as well. the trailer I dropped was reported to have a "tarp box issue" which was found to be a missing latch so I took it off the trailer I dropped and CMA shall we say using the macros.

Hey guys got a quick question if one of you can help. I just swapped into a 2012 truck out of my 2007 about 2 weeks ago. This is the first weekend I've got held out since I got it. So how long will the charge on this epu last before I have to idle? And how long do you need to idle to recharge it? Thanks for the help.
-
It varies AC in my will last a good 12 hours. Heat about 24. If I need to recharge I run the truck at about 900 RPM for two hours.
MtDewMan and Chikin_Nugget Thank this. -
I never had a problem with it running out or even very low over a weekend while hung-out personally. Just don't run everything in your truck at the same time for hours and hours obviously, and you should be OK. If it gets low on juice it will start beeping at ya. Idle the truck for a little while, watch the battery guage/charge. I don't know that there is a certain amount of time that you would need to idle, just keep on top of it, and you'll be fine. -And, right as I post this, Sewerman says around 2 hours- Thanks Sewerman! Definately take his advice.

10-4. It's been goin strong for about the last 20 hours. I just didn't know what to expect from it. Thanks for the help.

Now you let the secret out. Please just don't smoke any of my Cuban cigars.
Yes to all the above but you just can't get a shave. LOLseawheeler and jxu417 Thank this. -
I was hung out last weekend from Friday afternoon to Monday morning. I ran the truck about 2 hours Saturday and 2 hours Sunday and it was fine. It did start beeping Saturday before I idled the truck though.
sewerman Thanks this. -
I've been running my heat and A/C for the past 12 hours as well as my cooler and 3 hours of my laptop. The truck just started beeping an shutting stuff off to preserve the batteries. The inverter is still running though and so will the heat and A/C if I wanted to. It's about 50* out today in NLR so I have my windows open with the screens in instead of running the batteries down with heat or A/C.
I do think they have the high idle set too high on the truck though. It was 750 RPM when I was at SNI and I never had any problems with it. The truck idles nice and smooth around 750RPM. 900RPM is much louder and makes the truck shake a lot more. -
Gary Yard put all new batteries in my '11 a few weeks ago. Love it, love it, love it! Now I don't have to bundle up like an eskimo at night. LOL!

You can set the idle wherever you like. Mine isn't loud or shakes at any RPM.
