Thank you Sir!
Thankfully, some of us grow up after a few years of being idiots

the only difference is you were let off and he got the ticket, 95 is surely excessive but its wyoming and its likely there wasnt a vehicle a mile in front of or behind him going in the same direction..
you can safely slow down a rig going 95 just as safely as one going 77, whether you have 100k or youre empty. slamming on the brakes? wont be pretty in either case. -
What a moron . Physics is NOT your strong suit
-
arguing "physics" with someone who likely didnt even graduate highschool, now that would be moronic...
real world experience is what im relying on although i have never hit 95 (speedometer doesnt even go that high)...i have hit 80 and you can bring the speed under control regardless of how fast you are going, the concept is the same. all bets are off depending on traffic and/or how fast you need to slow down...he was in wyoming, not ny city. -
Before I read all these pages.. you decided to take it out of gear on the sisters, lol
-
Assuming that someone didn't graduate highschool isn't very smart either.
-
maybe i was too insulting, lets say he's not a below avg driver and he graduated highschool... hes still wrong. just because the more weight you have the faster the truck increases speed when going down a hill does NOT mean it cant be slowed down in a controlled manner.
and he might not of even of had a heavy load, or taken it out of gear...you can gain alot of speed empty too.
i think its prettylaughable that all of these guys are jumping on this guy, its like a flash mob and then next week the same guys might be going 15 over accidently while going down a hill, but you werent ticketed or caught so its ok.Last edited: Feb 24, 2013

Let me know how that worked out for you when I see you wrecked on the median next to a Fedex Ground set.
