I believe they are yes.
-
How much of an advantage is it to live in the same city where a terminal is?I live around the Birmingham area, and have been thinking about giving Roehl a call.
-
Only advantage is for home time fleets, otherwise it doesn't matter.
-
Somewhere to park the truck at when you go home and maybe somewhere to grab a relay to and from coming and going. I imagine a hole in the wall terminal.
-
Maybe you could get a local route and go home everyday
-
It helps if you don't have a good place to park the truck at home. Also it helps if they can work on your truck when you are on home time instead of wasting time and not getting paid while you are on the road.
-
My understanding was this was to be more of a flatbed terminal. I have to admit I don't know what that means, other than they might carry more equipment than other terminals. Perhaps they will have fm's there that mainly do flts, and also training.
-
Maybe that just means they don't have showers there.
-
Hopefully they'll have local so I can relay and not mess with Birmingham
