town to avoid

This is simple! it's a city hurting for money! we truckers are the ones being shaked up from all directions! The Dot want our money, the bankrupting cities want our money! Let's ban Warner Robbins!

 

These people have a right to their opinions. They dont want trucks in town, then they should not be forced to put up with trucks. Like you said, there are off ramps, side of highways, truck stops, and open areas (with permission of the owner).

Why are you all complaining, just get out of town after your business there.

 

They do have a right to their opinions but we also have a right to ours. I will not go into a town that has these kind of laws. Can they make it it we stopped delivering any and everything that comes by truck? I think not!!! When will these people learn that trucks keep America moving!!!

 

Like the guy said in the comments to the article on the home page. quit delievering there and let the national guard come to the rescue...then they'll see how much they really need truckers.

My guess is in the 2 weeks the ban was in place it became harder to get shipments in and business' started to complain.

 

Doubt it..

 

What a DB. It's this type of thankless crap that makes me want to hang up the keys and let'em come get their own crap. Shake down a driver for money just for being there. God forbid they have to.. gasp... see a truck. @holes.
