    Day 1 was tons of paperwork. I got most of the gold pack filled in last nite. I had my interview and it was uneventful and painless. A lil later today I head to the Sim. I'm looking foward to it.

    Day 2 will be the begining of the actual orientation process. I believe I heard we were going to have 45ish people in this class.

    Will post more as it develops.

    keep us posted. im looking real hard at prime, im probably going to apply as soon as i turn 21 in September and if all goes well i hope to head to springmo in October with my permit in hand

    Tuesday 2/26:

    Today was orientation, drug test, physicals, interviews, and computer based training. The first thing I will say is be everywhere early!!!

    The morning started out with a brief over view from the medical staff and the medical paper work. Then the corparate security guys came in and did the fingerprinting and basicly asserted their authority. My background is a clean background but, from I gather; tell them everything!!!!

    After all that it was drug testing and the 1st part of the physicals... No much I can say about the drug screen but, be clean or be gone! The physical is straight foward... On a personal note my B/P was slightly over allowable. So I have to get it rechecked in the morning..

    This afternoon we did the CBT on sexual harrassment, wellness, mounting driving, shurlock, Elog, rollover, and hazmat. Its not difficult but, it is dry material.

    The food here is ok.. Its not great but its free.. However, there is walmar and other resturants with in walking distance if you wanna venture out...

    We did loose three people today.. I believe they were dismissed due to lack of comprehension of the english language... I was in the training office has they were adminstering a "english reading" test. After, the person read the passage. He was asked what did it mean.. He couldn't answer. Then proceded to argue with the office staff. "saying you only asked me to read it.. You didnt ask me to understand it" It wasn't getting pretty.. He was dismissed rather quickly..

    TMW is Pretrip class and hands on Pretrip as well as more Sim time.

    @mdmedicgod ... thanks for your "progress" posts... very helpful to those of "us on the outside, looking in"... as for myself I just submitted my application to Prime online Sunday evening... hopefully in a few days I'll be getting a "green light"... want to start class around the second week of June... just keep your head in the game and you'll do just fine. Good luck and keep them posts coming! :biggrin_255:

    No problem... I enjoyed reading many of the similar post when I was making my decision... I wanted honest answers and seems like you can find a million bashers on any company..

    Are you in Pittston, Pa and what division will you be working? I start this coming Monday in Pittson. I signed up for the tanker but my recruiter told me refer NE division makes more money so I chose that. This will be my first trucking job.
