I can't remember if I posted this here or not, but here is the first and only accident so far that I caught on my dash camera in my truck back on December 1st.

Sometimes it's a wonder any of us get home alive... so many stupid people on the road.

Why you hiding this in the Maverick thread?

holy crap is right! The four wheeler that passed you didn't even show any brake lights so obviously they weren't paying attention and could have avoided the wrong way driver.

I just ordered a HD dashcam and was searching for dashcam posts.

I've seen too much #### since my summer vacation ended that would have made great footage.

They never seem to see lane closures either.

    Probably texting.

The wrong way driver didn't even swerve...well, barely...did they even stop?

The trucker in front of you saved a life, IMO. If he wasn't paying attention and didn't move over, the silver SUV would have creamed into him trying to move out of the way.

Someone should have caught the wrong way driver and punched him in the throat.

First HOLY CRAP! Second what kind of dash cam are you using,Im currently looking at several different models ranging in price from a hundred or so bucks to around 400. Thirdly I think if it had been me and I had seen the car coming behind me I may have slowed down in the left lane and held my ground. I could take the head on hit a lot better than the SUV behind me. Yeah they missed hitting but just barely and they still rolled it. I personnally along with 6 other mavericks travleing convoy together(we were hauling copper and were instructed to stay together) saw a drunk do the same thing to a lady in a suv. She rolled three times before landing on her wheels. She was alive but beat up pretty badly. The miracle was the little boy with her who had apparently not been wearing a seat belt and was tossed from the front seat to the very back but amazingly never got tossed out of the vehicle even though every piece of glass in it was busted out.
