Can a D.O.T put a driver out of service because a driver didnt speak 100% english????

Course it is a very rare day I can understand ANYTHING an Alabaman says.Seriously. At a port there a couple years ago the guard had to write on a piece of paper where I had to go to get the load.

I wonder..Would I be put out of service for not understanding what THEY say? No matter-probably could use the 10hr break anyway

With regards to this thread: Don't wanna speak English? Get out of that Truck and move to Los Angeles. I have not got a load there yet with anyone speaking..yup..English.

 

Not only should the driver of been placed out of service, but the company that put him on the road should be investigated also, how many other drivers do they have on the road like this? Anbd how did he get his CDL in the first place?

Welcome to America Learn to speak our Language.. Don't like the rules LEAVE... We make it hard to become a resident here but we do not make hard for you to leave....
Go to Germany and try to make them speak Spanish.. Or go to France or any other country and try to make them speak another Language NOT going to happen so why should I have to change??? Thats right I don't and I don't speak Spanish and I am not going to learn I am an AMERICAN...

Spanish or Russian, or Serbian, it's the same every where you go. You want to work in a country, you need to communicate in that country.

Bottom line, I thank DOT for that. Have any idea How many people BUY their CDLs in IL ?? a simple 3gs to some politician and voila ! you have your CDL. Notice I didn't write the word "crooked" in Obamaland THEY ALL ARE !!!!
