EZ, you may remember this....living in NC. Back in '85 or '86 I can't recall the year but on the Sat. of the Memorial Day week-end a driver for GSF hit a young woman on Hwy 220 south just outside of Ellerbe , NC. She was killed as was the horse, the driver of the truck never had a chance because she came out of a field next to the highway, the horse had been spooked by the truck and was a runaway...that driver and I were good friends after that accident which was clearly NOBODIES fault he could never get back in a truck. We never know when this might be one of us.....All of you rookies take notice of this thread.....it can happen to YOU....

Sorry to hear this. Hindsight is 20/20 but any driver, especially CDL driver who has an accident involving serious injury let alone fatality, should get a lawyer. At a minuimum free consultation to see what is possible.

Exactly! If I were still allowed to drive after a fatality -- at fault or not -- I'm doubt I even could. So aside from my annoyance at the OP shrugging responsibility for his limited employ-ability, his psychopathic demeanor just gives me the willies.

^As it should be for any well-adjusted human.
