Amazing how things chage, 4 days ago I was stuck in Guymon for the "Blizzard", rolled out with my load knowing I couldnt make OTD but ran it anyway, got the appt rescheduled and within 15 mins of the appt being rescheduled I get the ol Hey buddy can ya help us out....It was a few less miles, but at least I didnt have to take it in to long beach cali, dumped out in industry (oh yeah was nice losing my 43K pork load to get 24K of chicken legs in Seligman AZ) got up at 2 ran it into Industry (45 mins late) BUT shipper took me right in and had me unloaded and out the gate within 55 mins. Gotta love GSF in Industry, they are always quick it seems. 25 mins before they were done unloading me, my QC goes off, I get up and look expecting the old canned safety messages for the day but NO it was a PREPLAN OMG I havent seen one of those in forever lol. Preplan sent me off to Yuma had enough time on my clock to hole up in El Centro for a 10, will take off early in the AM so I can drive the last 62 into Yuma, park again take another 10 then go get my load. Then off to Louisianna, #### I can hear those Banjos from deliverance now. Dont know whats worse West VA or Lousianna. But gonna enjoy my flat run. It was 82 degrees here today i had to turn on the AC on the APU instead of the heat for once. I think the repower gods and load planners were smiling down on me today. For once I havent had to say Da#nit Stevens al day. Keeps fingers crossed lol BTW what a difference temperature makes on MPGS.

I am sitting at swift in Tolleson waiting for a two stop load to Riverside and Inglewood, they have changed appt times for delivery three times, they keep moving them.back. DLD still 2100 so 300 miles to first drop aat now at 10:30, 70 more miles to 2nd. Appt at 1430. Then I need to get out of LA and park.
Going to be tight trying to fit that in a 14 hr window. 5 1/2 hrs to 1st, 2 to unload... I hope, two to 2md stop, 2 more to unload... I hope, that leaves 2 1/2 hrs for the unexpected and out of the city and parked.
This should be a fun one...
And I should add I've been here since yesterday, that's ok, I needed the rest, but my APU quit late yesterday afternoon when.I was out of hours so took it to TK this.morning. so I didn't even get a reset in.Last edited: Feb 28, 2013

Some of these places they send us into... we really should not be going into. Got to my Inglewood stop and they said just go around the block... three lefts, to the dock. No problem... except all three streets including the one there dock is on are " No Trucks Over 6000 lbs. And their dock? I had to wait for them to move their truck, I mean van... so i could Jackknife the trailer at about a 70° angle to bump the dock, which left my tractor blocking the street.
All to deliver two pallets.
Fun fun fun
