I saw that message today. Wasn't sure whether to laugh or cry. I'm running Kraft loads again, but its dregs rather than the cream it was dec-mid feb. I was running all Kraft to Kraft. Preloaded and drop at 99, now it's live unloads, short runs, tight schedules, and loooong detention (which I haven't been getting because my dm isn't as awesome as roger). I know some Kraft books stuff out a bit, so I'm hoping they've seen an uptick that hasn't hit us yet. Idk if you were reading between the lines on that, but it sounds like they want more drivers running lower miles. When I signed up they were talking about driver who kill the 70 every week (which is where I am most of the time) and this time they're talking about how you have to be ok only doing 2500 miles a week. If my miles drop anywhere near that I'm off this fleet before they know what happened, and so will be the others with good service and safety records.

I want my loop back. 3000-3400 miles every week, one live load, one live unload, d/h everything else.

If you're talking about the coffee grinders I took one of the first 6 loads of beans there, and we all had to scramble for trailers when they told us they would be taking 3-4 days to unload all of them. (6 showed up all at once and they don't have cold storage). We got our mt's at the Portland yard; good thing you guys had them.

Well I'm gonna be 90-120 minutes late on my load. Meijer held me there for 11.5 hrs after my appointment. This will be my first late delivery that wasn't caused by a blizzard. I know meijer doesn't care, but I had to bail on my next pset that was 700 miles over them holding me up. The 225 I may or may not get doesn't make up for that.

Found an awesome parking spot on 114W in Dallas!! Lol. Split 8/2 to get to my 99 inside the window they gave me. Didn't make my exit because of construction/traffic. Now I'm taking the 2 hours on a closed access ramp. 2 minutes on my clock and I'm 12 miles away. Should only be an hour late but what a crappy way to start my return to work!!

Danm... Hate that!! With us it was waiting at the 49er to get a trailer tire checked... Had an 'object' lodged in a supersingle... Don't want to risk too far on those... After waiting an hour, checked back with them, said it would be ANOTHER hour and a half at least!! NOT WAITING ANY MORE!! Took it to West Sac Michelin dealer... No leak... Sigh... All that time wasted... But we are back in our loop!! So all is good in our world (right now)!!

The last 28 days has been a blast, great student ,decent miles and now stuck in Dallas TX with no load! We were supposed to be in Conley for his upgrade today and wow magically there's no #### beer or freight going east out of TX! What a crock of $ hit!! I know a few dedicated dispatchers that need to get it the heII together! Ok rant over.

You know, as a 'contractor', you don't HAVE to wait for a load... You can just start heading that way... However, it would be on your dime, unless you can get training to pick up the tab to get your student back... Or call training about the 'no load' issue, they might be able to work magic!!
