I found 3 agents that handle roller van loads but all the freight moves out of southern California. So I need to figure out how to get down there or if I can find a high paying load I will just eat the deadhead cost.
It is interesting. Major difference between my old company and Landstar. I can see the potential to make a lot of money if you just hustle on the phone and do some "networking."Zangief Thanks this. -

I never had my truck searched inside and out like they did at the Army base in French Camp. Felt like someone was looking up my Wife's skirt. Plus the questions they ask you are a little intrusive. But I guess that's protocol.

$2 to $3 range. I never got a chance to pull for them but they were always looking for guys to pull for them. Jkw pulls alot out of calexico going to the northwest and maybe see if you can pull grants pass back south. Might work out from time to time. -
Dewey, give me a shout when you get down to SoCal. Next week is looking pretty steady for us out of there.
Dewey120 and herfinharry Thank this. -
Does anyway know if it's okay to load regular freight on wooden pallets onto a roller van trailer? The guy from trailer utilization says it's okay but I do not want to get to a shipper and the forklift operator will refuse to load it because of the rollers.
