Well I just came from J.B. Hunt and I feel proud that I managed to last 3 months. Ever since they started that rail operation crap freight has been hard to get. But now I'm with a dandy company they are U.S. Xpress it is actually Freight Systems but they lease U.S. Xpress trucks I really like this company they are out of Little Rock, AR off I-40 East Exit 157 across the street from the J.B. Hunt Terminal:biggrin_2555:. I get good miles and good pay "38cpm" that is all I really could ever ask for....however I would like in the future to get a regional job that is my only complaint about them they are only otr. I would appreciate if anyone could tell me if there are any good companies out there for that. I have talked to some dedicated swift drivers and they are happy as can be with there runs. I mostly run the south anyway I would just love to get a super south regional run. I'm not gonna lie I only been driving as a civillian truck driver for about 7 months but I like it so far. I drove tankers in the military for 4 years been out about 1 1/2 years.

Roehl Transport is a good company. They have a terminal in Ellenwood, Ga. You can check to see if they are hiring out of your area. Good luck in your career.

It's nice to hear good positive comments about a trucking company for a change. I start orientation with Freight Systems 3/11/13 and I am looking foward to working with them as a driver. I have worked with companies in the past that don't know the differance between the truth and a lie. I'm not saying all dispatchers and recruiters are liars. I had worked in both positions and don't like being lied to myself and find shooting straight with the driver has better results and you have a more productive driver. The recruiter I talked to at Frieght Sytems is very up front about everything and honest. She did not try to sell me on how great the company is, she just told me what they had to offer and the decision was left up to me, how refreshing that is. I am sold on Freight Systems and believe this is a wise choice for me. By the way the person in question is (Reita) a very nice lady to talk to, she will answer all questions and let you decide what's best for you.
