That's one thing I've wondered about. I've seen pneumatic RT equipment chained down with half flat tires for clearance - what happens if one of those tires leaks down in transit? Seems like one would want to put blocks underneath hard points on the equipment to pull against rather than relying on tire pressure to keep the load stable?

Ahh, I was under the impression that you could move in either direction along your permitted route - makes sense.
So, how do you get your axle weights right in that case?
