I'll be at crswvc picking up a student on Friday if anyone will be there. Now I have to clean the truck. Man I'm a slob when I'm running solo. And over a month of it has taken it's toll on the neatness/organization of my truck

Here's something I will never understand. I'm at a loves. There are 10-20 open spots, yet for some reason there are trucks lining the curb on the exit row. They're not oversize or doubles, regular old 53' boxes. Why would people clog the exit when there is all kinds of parking? It's not even tough parking; the isles are extra wide here.
Arkansas Frost Thanks this. -
Laziness...passion4polishing, Arkansas Frost, mje and 2 others Thank this.

Thanks for the support Moose. I have my truck now and I'm just a little disappointed. I didn't expect much, but I got a 2011 Prostar light edition. This means no storage space to speak of. The bunk is right behind the seats. But, I can deal with most things as long as they don't last too long and if I go O/O it means only a month. If I don't go O/O it only means until June when they will turn these trucks over for local drivers' use. And there was some talk of putting those of us in these trucks into brand new trucks when it comes time to turn them in.
Right now its in the shop with a leaky coolant hose while I do my laundry and catch up with my communications. Hopefully they'll call me with it fixed before I'm ready for bed....I still have to find a place (if I can) for everything.
Other than the truck, things couldn't have gone much better. My trainer was great, my experiences better than expected and the company itself still gets good marks. Since I already had my CDL there isn't any push to go right home, though I'd like to. Instead I'm waiting until the 22nd so I can be home for a couple of my grandkids' birthday party that weekend then back at the following Monday.
I know this first month on my own will be my biggest trial yet. I'm praying that all goes as well as it has been if not better. I like a challenge and I don't like to lose. -
I was in one of those at first. They're awful. Heads up, in case no one told you (like they didnt tell me) it's a 10 speed, so dont be confused when it wont shift like a 9. I spent the whole first day thinking i was terrible at 4 to 5, then I noticed thats because I was shifting 5 to 7.
