    We had to have a BC but to show at the DMV during school when we got our permit. The company never looked at it.

    This is the first place that has ask for it, even when I got my Hazmat they didn't ask for it. It wasn't ask for when I got my CDLs. Yep! I know this isn't a wallie world job. The local company's around here don't ask for a BC. Just your CDL and your Med card and 10 years of work history.

    I was told I needed it, brought it with, and was never asked for it all during orientation...

    Go figure.

    Better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.

    You are going to have to give up your Social Security and Driver License number. What else is there to be protected by not showing your birth certificate?

    have haz-mat, used to cross into Canada,not recently, drove tankers.
