Does anyone out there have any information about Certified Freight Lines (CFL) out of Santa Maria, CA? I am looking at driving for them and there isn't much info that I can find that will help me in making this decision. Don't want to shoot myself in the foot.

I know a few drivers there. Pay is low, .29/ mile, but you get accessorial pay that bumps you well beyond that. Mainly I-5 from San Diego to Seattle, decent equipment, no junk and from what I've been told, they treat you right. Not sure about APUs on the trucks. But all in all, after talking to many drivers, I get good vibes from them. I'm moving west soon and was looking into them, that why I have that bit of info.

Thanks Joseph1135, I really appreicate it. I talked to a scale operator here locally that has a family member working for them and he says they are a good company. Going for a physical on Friday...we will see what happens after that.

Go with Brent Redmond out of hollister, better pay and equipment.

If you like being Micro managed then go get on with CFL. Their trucks are SLOW 65MPH , they dont pay worth a #### ! The bennies are awesome, but the ######## that you have to put up with from Wally at the Stockton yard is going to piss you off !! Stay away from CFL !
