Mine was over the phone(no webcam nor was I ask about one). It's pretty basic stuff, and things most companies pull you out of orientation for. Averitt doesn't do that, they get all the questions out of the way beforehand. So if you get invited to Cookeville, then you're hired(so long as you pee clean, and they don't find a lie somewhere in your paperwork, but that's usually all taken care of before you get there).

As far as Cookeville, when I was there, their wasn't a driver in there, other than the occasional one that walked in to get a drink. Another guy in orientation with me mentioned it, saying it was the first trucking company he had seen where drivers weren't in the lounge complaining about everything. Since then(July 2012), I have yet to see one.raetnrunner Thanks this. -

How's the miles been this past week?

I had just over 2000. It slowed down big time Thursday and Friday. Was sick the last two days and hit the doctors office today. Sinus infection. Should be back to full strength by Monday. Finish off a load to Atlanta to start the week.

We did over 3k this week IIRC. We ran to the N/E which we were told would not happen due to the weather. All the way to New Jersey.
