Safeway Freezer Storage. I had a terrible head ache all day, so I got to Maryland and stopped at the Flying J at exit 100, shut down, went in and showered then had dinner. I look up at the TV while I'm eating and see this big storm bearing down on the area. I knew I shouldn't have washed the truck, but it was filthy! So the storm is coming with 3-6" of snow starting tonight and going through Thursday morning. I will see what things look like in the morning, but I may be sitting this out for the next day.

I park my truck for home time about three miles from that J

If you need it there is a Walmart just down the street.

Hubby & I had to shut down a few times for fatigue after running 2-3 22/23hr days. We did everything Emul said, PLUS, sent a 'follow-up' QC to Safety just incase the documentation 'disappeared'.

Well, this storm is fun so far. Only seeing rain at the moment here, but the snow is moving in from the south and the wind is rocking the truck. Since I'm headed south, I'm gonna sit this one out until it passes.

Looks like the worst of this storm may be done in the early hours tomorrow. I have a 1800 appt, but I was told it's a drop. My original plan was to deliver it today, but I have to go south on I95 and they are predicting bunches of snow in Baltimore and DC. I'm going to wait for it to pass and for them to have time to clean up the roads before I take off. Just means this weeks check will only cover expenses. But I should have a good start on next week.

Well this was a good day driving... 654 miles. That's my record for this truck. Did 672 once in the trainers truck but that was a 66mph truck.

So I got a load from FT. Myers to FT. Worth. Stopped in Van TX night before delivery and had dinner with my son. While there I get my preplan for a 680 mile load from Dallas to Pueblo CO. Short miles but I had a good trip before it, and running low on hours. But the thought had crossed my mind to take a 34 in Dallas and spend a day with the wife. Nope do the right thing, no one will want the short run to Pueblo and company did me decent. Major issue with fuel on the way had to do a 40 mile turn around for fuel. Man that hurts the bottom line. Pulse I am just under 79,500 lbs. fighting wind and it is all us highway. Finally got unloaded and to the only truck stop I can legally reach on my 70. A Loves, so after Post Trip I am -34 minutes on my 70 (got here with 1 minute left on 70). I got sick last night and only picked up 4 hours at midnight so wont be going anywhere soon. My fear is I will end up on a meat load once I can go. That 34 in Dallas would have been nicer. Momma could have made me soup. :), hopefully karma will smile on me and I can get a decent load and get moving again.
