Why? Because he speaks the truth and its not your way of following the nonsense being pushed upon us? Maybe you should find a new job sinse your part of the problem as to why they are being pushed?

If you like your hand held then so be it but don't force or agree to force it upon us big boys that can handle our own job requirements. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the paper and pen I use on a daily basis. Why should I have to change? If you think all we paper guys run illegal then you need your tinfoil hat.

while i'll agree that the pen and paper thing sucks.

i have no problems using my laptop instead of pen and paper OR the allmighty box. :biggrin_25525:

In no way shape or form are they going to let a driver get by without paying for these systems. My pens cost me about $20/year and my paper logs don't cost me a dime. Whats wrong with this?

Last I heard $35 . If you've been running legal you'll gain a lot more than that by having driving and on duty time measured by actual minutes and not in 15 minute segments .
