It always seems to average out in my case... I just take what they send me... my last few runs have been all over the board and I have been all over the country in the last three weeks. 900 miles, followed by 1100 followed by 700, followed by 3900, followed by 350, followed by 900, followed by 1450, and my next is 1200... in that time i have been from New York to LA to Northern WI and on my way next to Ft Worth. When I deliver there Monday it will be over 9000 miles in about 24 days, so a little less than 3000 per week, but remember this is the slow season, so just run what they give you and it should all average out in the end.

Well, I had 592 to run today to make OTD. By the time I got parked here at this Pilot I did 604 and had 1 minute left on my clock thanks to some traffic and reduced speed areas. Today was my 90th day on grad fleet. I called my DM to make sure I will be off it by the time I get back to the yard, which should be my next load as my qual cards expire tomorrow. My wife will be coming to Dallas to get on the truck, which she cannot do unless I'm off grad fleet. He said I just need one more dispatch? Sitting in Columbia SC, wonder what load I'll get in the morning.

Sittring in Laredo waiting on brakes for my trailer....SMH Why is there no accountability for the drivers that drop these things. 1/8 at best on the shoes. More than one driver has run these brakes and there were no signs that the brakes had been changed or tampered with across the border

Yesterday I get a dispatch from Wisconsin to Ft Worth. Picked up today at 1500, delivers Mon am...

I get a call yesterday asking if I can help a driver out that needs to be in Texas for a class, he has a load going to NJ, one stop. I say sure... always willing to help out. I figure a good chance to stop home for a few days, I have been out for three months this week. Today however the plant I picked up at had there production shut down do to an issue there. I ended up with a partial load and two hours late leaving... Now the Jersey load is scheduled for Sunday am.delivery. No way I can make it now. I call dispatch they tell me I'll have to talk to meat tomorrow. I tell them if I don't talk to someone tonight, I am not stopping for the swap. I am not giving up a load I can make for a Tyson load I can not.

They canceled it. If the other driver rolls now he can make it, I was three hours from the swap still when I called.

Lesson learned... not even discussing a repower again until my load is picked up and I am rolling.

Here is a first, picking up a Smithfield load and it was ready early. Of course it's only the second time I've been here. 2 drops, O Fallon, MO and Olathe, KS. Not sure how this load gets me to the yard....

Tomorrow is my 19th wedding anniversary, My wife will be in Houston, I'll be driving.

Aldi's. I knew I should have taken I40 to I75 to I64. It's an extra 40 miles, so I followed the rec route. Took 10:09 to do 535. Darn hills in VA and KY. Made it to Waddy. Got about 300 to roll tomorrow and then take a break before my delivery the following morning. Trying to decide whether I should stop short in Il, or go past it to Foristell and backtrack. Foristell is closer, but it will be the middle of early morning, so stopping in Granite city shouldn't be an issue. Decisions decisions.
