I am with US Xpress now. My recruiter was honest - which says a lot considering most don't. Kimberly Carlton. She told me what to expect at orientation and even though it was a pain, she made me get all my crap in before hand BUT when I got there I was done compared to the last place I went and the ones who showed up with no license or no glasses - stupid crap. :biggrin_2556:

I am considering the $5000.00 relocation bonus offer that she made me today to move to Gas City IN for local Walmart account. My buddy moved down from Michigan - where there is NO local - and likes it alot. They do run 24/7, so good for money. They are so busy they need drivers in ASAP. Heck, they are even taking some students after school. I couldn't get nothing but OTR when I left school.

Has anyone ever done lane pay though? They say $850 average but pays out different lanes and 20 a stop.

Supposedly if I move there within 30/40 miles I get 2/3 days home per week or I live out farther but under 60, and can drive in to the Wal-Mart yard and get a 34 hour reset every week, or stay out 11 and home 2, running like 250 mile circle there in Gas City.

I "live" in Ohio now and they need Dollar General in Zanesville really bad and I can get home every week but I don't know if I want to unload - great big $$$$$ though, geez! Walmart is no touch but I need to brush up on my 10 speed skills!:Driver:
