just tame your urge to run the truck hammer-down all the time, run a little slower when you have plenty of time, and your mpg's will fall in line with the company average. I think that the company avg is something like 6.8 or so... Not completely sure, but its fairly close to that. I think at 6.85 or so you start earning bonus money (under current bonus program which is soon being modified). Lots of drivers get these results and I know that they are not as conscious about mpgs as I am. Don't worry, you will do fine, the trucks are made to get good mpgs anyways.
Just applied with TMC!

it used to be in the 6.5-6.8 area, but it may have changed since i left. i never had a problem with MPG's, but i knew a few people that did, and would get calls about it from their FM's. 2 quarters with bad fuel mileage used to get a driver a free bus ticket home.MJ1657 Thanks this.
