Thanks for the replies. As has been stated there are some options available on new trucks. Problem is I don't want to order a new truck, I'm looking for used.
The only used trucks I have seen with big beds in factory sleepers are the Western Stars and I haven't been able to find any dealers with one in the central US on Truck Paper. I think it would be in the one with an 86" sleeper.
It looks like I'll just have to keep looking for another Western Star. I don't think the remodeling will work for us as we have to have room for a porta potty in the sleeper as well. If I make the bed wider there will not be enough room left for it.
Thanks again everyone.
Which truck has the widest bed?

I use to have a waterbed in mine until I slammed on the brakes!

Have you checked out a Volvo 780 with a 77" sleeper? That's as close as you will get. I don't think on others you will find wider than a 48" mattress.Dominick253 Thanks this. -
My Mack had the biggest mattress I've ever had in a truck. Their brochure advertises a 53" mattress option.

My Chevy has an 8 foot bed.

I'm a truckers wife add a few inches with a detachable wood board that will support a custom mattress and still leave room for the porta potty

There are actually a few Argosy's running around the states, just not many buy them. There are actually a handfull in our fleet as an experiment, couldn't get ahold of one though.Dominick253 Thanks this.

I would think that, you could remodel a 660SS, knock out the lower cabinets, put storage where the upper bunk is and have one heck of a bed.

All of the ones I see are asking $25-30k. When trucks speced the same but not cab overs are around $15k. I like them but not enough to pay $10k more.FerrissWheel Thanks this.

Yeah same here, they are cool, but not that cool.Dominick253 Thanks this.

The Peterbilt 579 has a 80" bunk. Not sure about the mattress size. It's a massive shack on the inside.
