Except for the "lies & bulls" the rest doesn't sound bad! lol... I was thinking about calling them to ask about a dedicated account, but I'm good right now driving OTR (I'm with USX too). I would not mind the physical labor, my last job was delivering roofing materials and it put me in good shape and I lost almost 30lbs. But one of the reasons I left is bc it was way too much labor for the compensation. So I totally understand what you said about the unloading and not enough $$$ at the end of the week.

 

Well, I just got approved to run the Dollar tree account out of my house instead of my Dad's address...big plus.

 

why not do the thing that came out in the blast today? I am considering it. There is $5000.00 relocation bonus offer to move to Gas City IN for local Walmart account.

Supposedly if I move there within 30/40 miles I get 2/3 days home per week or I live out farther but under 60, and can drive in to the Wal-Mart yard and get a 34 hour reset every week, or stay out 11 and home 2, running like 250 mile circle there in Gas City.

 

I dunno. Still liking my home daily deal if the miles go up. But if anything, home weekly at the minimum

 

I am researching Gas City area now. I want to see what there is to do if I have 2 or 3 days off!

 

My brother did Dollar Tree. First few weeks hard but then u get the idea and your muscles stop hurting and best of all he made like 1300 a week! Sometimes more. He lost like 40 pounds and made $$$$. The secret is stay long enough to make it.

 

I guess I'm apprehensive because I fear the duck walk thinking I may get sent home. I'm a big dude. Not sure if I can waddle that far. I can bend down, head up and walk, but not squat down like a baseball catcher and walk.

 

Yeah, I guess it is dollar tree. Out of Joliet il. At first I was told family dollar account, then to take the truck home I had to switch over.
Now can I hit the ground running? Or do I have to train with a guy for a week or so?

 

I saw people fail that duck walk and I'm not saying this to discourage but to give you a heads up. It's and easy thing, just keep your chin close to your chest, that will keep your head down. You don't have to do it pretty, you just need to keep your head from hitting the top of that shelf. Good luck to you!
