Just wanted to give a brief update that I will be hauling dry van in the Texas Regional Fleet after my six day break to recuperate from Phase 2 OTR with my Trainer. Over-all, it was a terrific learning experience, intense and stressful at times, but well worth the effort. Also, I learned a lot from reading the threads on this Forum and appreciate all of the postings that have been contributed here. Looking forward to seeing you down the road!

Hey TexasPhoenix,
Thanks for the "atta boy"! I enjoyed meeting you during my Phase 1 time in Dallas and wish we had more time to get better acquainted. If I recall correctly, you were there due to your mom being hospitalized. I hope things are going well for you. It's a tough choice to not have the "wheels turning" because of needing to be with family. I admire your commitment to looking after the needs of your mother. BTW, I think I saw your VoVo in the Dallas Yard while I was there on the 8th to pick up my assigned truck. It is a 2012 Freightliner Cascadia with 193K miles. I hooked an empty trailer and hauled home to Austin and will probably do my first solo run on the 14th. Perhaps we will have another chance to visit in Big D one day soon. All the best to ya! -
Yup that was my truck you saw. Still off road taking care of Mom. Looks like it will be at least another 5-6 weeks. Will have lost the first quarter. But not much choice on matter. Be careful with the Texas drivers and always use your Safe 7 and you should do ok.

Texas and safe 7??? In West Texas its the safe 14. No one out there! LOL. Congrats and welcome aboard!
ATX Thanks this.
