End of week 3 TRAINCO, Lansing MI...

The past 3 weeks just flew by!!! We had a guest speaker come in, a cute old man from the railroad talking about safety... Very informational and he was quite the character... We got on the road with a trailer, doing left and right turns, did pre trips, manuvers, homework, logs and a quiz... Our instructor came in on Friday to do some polishing up on a few students and welcomed the ones that just wanted the extra practice...

Am so thankful that I was able to attend TDT at Trainco... I could have just went out and got my CDL as i did years ago, but I would not have been able to understand the tractor/trailer as I know it now... That feeling I had years ago of not having control, being behind the wheel was very scary, I put the lives of others and myself in alot of danger and never even knew it. Though I never had a ticket or an accident that feeling of not knowing if what I was doing was correct was always there and now I know, i'm confident, I understand the shifting, turns, manuvers, and the safety of having control of my tractor/trailer.

It has been a great time at Trainco and hard to believe that I only got a week left. I've learned so much and will allways carry what my instructors have taught me. Am very excited to begin the last week of class, graduate on Thursday and Friday morning is my day for testing it will be a very proud moment for me. It seems like a million years since I've had my CDL, I've had my T.I.P for 3years! Did the written test three times and pushed at every chance I had to get my CDL... It's always been in God's time, his plan. Every time I pushed for my CDL, he knocked me back down... I've sacraficed and gave up alot more, sat back with thee ut most patients and he has finally said yes! Very proud of myself for surviving all the challenges and obsticles in life to get me back to where I know I should be...
