    I am considering working for a dedicated account with JB Hunt. Anybody here work/worked for them give me some insight?

    JB Hunt is notorious for the bait & switch. That is, they will promise a dedicated account. Once you get to orientation, the dedicated account won't be open anymore. You will have to go OTR or go home.

    they better not pull that with me, I am considering leaving an over the road job for it. the only reason i am considering it is so i can be home everyday if i am still going to be otr i won't leave

    I talked to a recruiter but took a pass after reading the overflow of bad reports. Google "JB Hunt" and "Bait and Switch" to see what I mean. The recruiter left me a nasty voicemail, "I'm glad I didn't hire you!" Guess he just missed his quota.

    *Red flag on recruitors: when their craigslist ads don't mention the company name and you find out you're talking to JB Hunt 60 seconds into the conversation.

    I have been working at the account for two weeks now and everything has been as I was told other than the shift, but that is due to a recent change by the customer and not JB. No complaints so far.
