    Not sure about KW's newest trucks, like T700 and 770. But on T660, T800, and W900 you can get an 86 inch sleeper. And every time someone with one passes my Volvo VNL610 I get really jealous.

    From what I have seen on TV a specialty shop is the way to go for modifications.

    Lol. I agree.

    My wife & I plan on living in the truck for the first year. We don't plan on going home. The truck will be our home so its important that we have plenty of room inside.

    well i will throw another comment in here then....the couch (you can choose to have a couch that makes into a bed or a bed on the bottom) when it is made out into a bed.. is VERY uncomfortable.....IMO....there are plenty of room in the studio sleepers which is nice...and when the bed is made up into the couch the room is even better...but its not a very comfy bed....I AM A HOOD FAN...379 or a 389 pete or a w900L KW....BUT IMO the volvo 780's have great beds and lots of room....have you looked at those??? lots of storage it has a bench type dinette that folds down to make the bed....

    Take a look at the " Stratosphere" sleeper on the Western Star website. If I ever buy a new truck( which is a long shot) it would be a WS with the stratosphere sleeper with the dinette setting.

    Thanks Giggles. We were wondering how those couch sleepers really were when they are folded into the bed. But we aren't planning on buying a truck yet. US Xpress is the company we are going with and they have some kenworths so we were trying to get some info on their sleepers just to see what they were like.

    But speaking of the Volvo 780s we actually just went last week and looked at one just to see what it was like. OMG it was awesome! We were so impressed with the space and the dinette thing.     thats the thing..yeah you can get a mattress topper, memory foam, whatever..to put on the couch. but then where to store it when the couch is made up???..
