Companies like that will get their bonus money back plus some! It's nothing but a worm on a hook. If they are a good company they don't need bonuses to attract drivers.
They pay out over a period of time to keep you there and not take a loss. Just another trick of the trade. Many pay out like $500 once a month and you get all excited for that check. Then you wonder why it is only $700. Well dang at another company I would of made $1000 with no bonus.
It's kind of like satellite TV. You think you are getting a good deal the first year but they are still making money off of you. Then the second year they really make money off you.
I've done some bonus hopping early in my career. It's not worth it. Just find you a good company based on their reputation, driver reports and you'll be happier and make more on that W-2.cuzzin it, thecleaninglady and truckon Thank this. -
