Bus Driver Had Previous Speeding Convictions

That doesn't suprise me. When I was either going to MTC in MO, or going to Denver from my Memphis orientation.... can't remember which time....
But everyone on the bus was asleep, and I couldn't sleep, and I watched in silence, and in horror, as the bus driver, came within 5" of rear ending a dry van!
Ironically, I read a thread last night about someone wanting to drive for grey hound.... and it got me curious, so I tried to call them about two hrs ago.
Their driving recruiting offices are only opened sunday through wednesday.... and it's thursday.

 

the only place i've ever seen a greyhound bus is , in the hammer lane, wide dam open......

 

I never understood how a truck hauling freight (hazmat or not) is so restricted, especially in certain states, Yet a greyhound bus hauling LIVES can just go, well, wide open down the road. I cant think of a time I ever saw a passenger bus pulled over. I Can think of a time when it needed it though. I was on it. Hit a car in the middle of a turn. Kept going.
