Make sure you don't drop it too low... Having no heartbeat at all is an immediate disqualification for truck driving ;)

So I got news for all of u.. I'm a girl I'm a rider with my fiancé! I was asking all these questions on both our behalfs! But my next question is we want to continue the rider policy with maverick and are wife's allowed to come down with their husbands to orientation to stay with them not to actually go to orientation.. For the after when he gets his truck .. Thanks! If you chose not to take the grey hound and drive yourself do they reimburse for gas.. Because I heard they do but I wanted to make sure?!

    1. As long as you are legally married with a marriage certificate you can ride free of charge with him. They will want a copy of the marriage cert. and issue you a riders paper that needs to stay in the truck. 2. I think, but not sure, you can come but would have to get (pay for)your own room at the hotel nearby. I don't think you are allowed at the Maverick hotel. 3. Maverick will reimburse whatever the bus fare would have been. You can get there however you want. Can't make a paragraph. IMHO you could be a distraction while there. He won't have a lot of free time from what I'm told. When he gets his truck, he will have a few days off. He can bring it home, stock it and you can climb in if you have the paper. That paperwork can be done by fax or e-mail in a couple of hours.

I agree. Going with him to orientation, even if you're only staying in a hotel, in an unneeded distraction. It's is very important for him to 100% focus on the classes. Not to mention that you cant stay with him like hesgoneagain said, you'd have to pay for your own hotel room at a nearby hotel, which im sure is expensive. He'll get to come home and pick you up once he's done with orientation.

The recruiter said it depends on the day he leaves for orientation it could be up to week before he gets to come home after training that's why I was curious! I wasn't planning on being a distraction..:: I know how all that works and I figured that he wouldn't have Alot of free time!

12 hours before the test stop eating and drink lots of water, only water. Go to the store and buy the cheapest bottled water and drink one every 30 mins leading up to the test. It drops my BP 7-10 points every time. I always hover around 137-140 which is too close for comfort, doing this puts it soundly around 130.

Not the best idea... Two guys in my class did the same thing and their urine was so diluted the test was invalid. Too much water is bad... You really don't need to go through all that trouble, just be conscious of what you eat, or just avoid breakfast that morning.

I did that too, however, I must disclose, water is just about all that I ever drink. Maybe an occasional soda once in a while, and of course my 2-3 weekend brews.
