Yes, currently doing it thru Schneider bulk. They're paying 38 payments at $150/mo. Obviously if/when i move on, the payments will stop. However, that's only 1800/year, so if I get another gig and take home $1800 more per year, it really doesn't matter if I get all of the reimbursement.
is this true? companies will pay back tuition?

The recruiter from Sharkey transportation was in class a week or so ago. They are offering tuition reimbursement to recent grads in lieu of their normal sign on bonus. It's in Quincy IL. A couple of the instructors either work there now or have in the past and they seem to like it there.
michaeltrahin Thanks this. -
There are grants still available, my wife looked into recently where we live.
aiwiron Thanks this. -
Where did you guys find the grants (are they federal?)? So far, I haven't found any for, California...

Gordon will pay for your schooling if the school is on their approved list. I would call them and ask, they are a good company to work for.

Not sure exactly where my county finds them or what they're called, didn't get that far. She went to the local Employment office and they said with 2 hire letters they will pay for the school. Our community college has a good driving school. (Garrett County, MD)

That is like 3.17 YEARS!!!!
I signed up with KLLM. $37.50 payback per week and a final payout, up to something like $4k, after the first year. Though the government takes a chunk of that...
I signed on for regional at $0.39/mile during that time. But it is Refr, so not so many miles due to waiting at shippers/receivers.

This is directly from Roehl's web site. I was reimbursed for all my schooling by staying with them for over a year.[h=5]Tuition reimbursement[/h]It's like getting someone to help pay for your CDL driving school training! If you paid cash or took out a loan for your tuition, and Roehl is your first-choice carrier, Roehl will repay you for what you spent on tuition'up to $6,000.
You'll receive a $100 reimbursement for every 9,000 paid solo miles you drive plus an additional $250 upon 25,000 paid solo miles and $250 at 50,000 paid solo miles. For most new drivers, that adds up to more than $1,500 their first year. Tuition reimbursement monies are considered taxable earnings. -
That's the deal right there . Likely the pay pay increase would be much more . Say you only got $.05 cents a mile more and ran 2,000 miles a week . $100 a week more , 52 weeks - $5200 a year .
