    280 km or miles?

I would be darn proud to say I had one million miles behind me. When I do- I will have the jacket, decal on my truck and may even get my first tatoo!! LOL

You know, that's a good question. If I research it I bet I would have to say yes.

Especially if you have a few of those unknown low bridges thrown in with a couple mile backing to get out of there.

He's driven about 10% of the miles you've logged so I'm going w/ yes too.

So how are "safe" miles defined? By just not having an accident or incident that was your fault?
Or does it mean that you haven't broken any laws while driving?

Not sure why you say that but I think they're a bigger deal than you or I. I've only got 5 years and around 650000 miles but the more I learn the more I realize how much I don't know.

I got through that elevated confidence stage without incident and figure as long as I keep treating the next mile as the biggest one I'll be ok.

Hats off to the guys with 20+ safe years.

He's barely over a 1/4 of the way.. its like a 28 year old thinking its "nothing" to make it to 100 years old.

This attitude is what's wrong with these new drivers out there today.

Probably guys like this that are the ones who side swiped my truck in a truckstop, ripped my mirror off and then didn't even say anything. Just drove away....."really not a big deal"....geez...

JohnBoy and kerosene jockey Thank this.
