So I'm totally new to the trucking industry, and I will be starting it at the Swift academy in Millington this Monday.
Curious to see if any one else out there is going from Missouri?
I have been reading lots on the Millington academy and just Swift period. A lot of ups and downs, but that's expected. Life's not perfect..yet. A lot of newbies out there like me or curious minds trying to find out as much info they can about the academy and orientation and what not, so I will be posting my journey through the process to provide as much insight as I can. If you any questions about how the Millington academy is, feel free to ask and i will give you the uncut version. No sugar coat. But if your looking to hear that it's a vacation, it's probably not for you lol. Just saying, I read a lot of disappointed post, and people's high expectations.
if you have any information on the Millington academy or will be joining the academy this Monday 3-18-13, I would love to hear from you. Thanks for reading.

Soo hard leaving the family this morning. Broke down at the last second and the tears came running. I don't think my kids quite get it yet. They keep saying well we will see you in little
. And the wife wasn't taking it well. But all Is well. We are extremely blessed and God has always made sure we are more than ok. Long bus ride ahead of me. I'll be updating you all on the hotel when I arrive. God bless
