I met a Dominos driver at some warehouse in NJ, I was unloading he was loading. They must get some referral bonus because he was talking me into hiring on, he said he loved it and the money was great, he was also really hyper and had arms that looked like steel cable, I think the moral of the story is this job isn't for everyone, but if you're like that guy in NJ it may be perfect for you.

I was thinking of applying to this employer. How physical are the deliveries, I mean can the average person do this job or does it take sampson to do it and how may hrs a day do the drivers work and do they have their own sleepers with no slip seating or do they stay in hotels? Thanks for the assist.

I love hearing people complain about food service! Try being a plumber! Talk about back and knee problems! Try getting one piece tubs and showers up to the second floor of a house with no steps in it!. And then the next day you will be digging a ditch where you can't use a machine because of wires. And on top of that you make no where near $60,000-80,000 a year. What I wouldn't give for a hand cart and a lift on the back of the truck that lifts you up and down! Sounds pretty easy to me!

Here's a quarter plumber. Give someone a call who might care. I don't know any plumber that makes less than 100k a yr and if u make less than 60k then apparently you are not a very good plumber and should then maybe just stick to digging those ditches. Now, get off the truckers forum cause none of us truckers got no time for anyone like you. Oh, are you home in your comfy bed tonight...or are you sleeping in your plumbers truck like I sleep in mine? Bye bye guy!

Boxboss I would stick to eating dominos instead of working for them. Although picking up the pizza box might be too much physical labor for you. Physical labor might do you some good!
If you know a plumber that says he makes $100,000 a year he is a lier!! I work in one of the highest paid areas in the country and have been doing it for over 10 years. I don't know any plumbers that come close to that. Even the ones with their own businesses probably don't come close to that.
