And, yes. We were run illegal, too. I used to not log one day per week (ran local that day), so that I could get in my reset. I was running 7 days a week.

At MBM Columbus, we currently have 1 female driver, she does a great job. There is another female driver at our DC on the other side of town who has been with MBM for 10+ years. They cannot hire women if they don't apply. We ARE NOT forced to run illegal, in fact we will be disciplined if we do. There are only 3 team routes leaving our DC weekly. I have never run a team route because I have chosen not to. Each MBM DC has a different pay scale and each restaurant concept has a different delivery method (we use mostly lift gates, I roll in about 150pcs per week). If OTR trucking seems like a dream job to you, this is definitely not. We have to interact with customers, carry ourselves in a professional manner, wear company supplied uniforms and look the part of a representative of a multi billion dollar company. We get to know our customers as friends. I truly enjoy my job, but it is not for everyone. Watch a delivery if you have questions.
tarheelblau and JRut Thank this. -
Great info.. I'm looking forward to working with MBM in a few months. They had an on site hiring session a while back but they said they couldn't hire me since I had a speeding ticket and not 2 years driving experience yet. But in August I'll be eligible. 49 Chevy how often are you home with mbm?
