So, explain to me why shower credits have to expire anyway? I fueled at their location and may not need a shower at that time. May be over 7 days in my case before I get back to a location to use that shower credit that I earned. Seems ridiculous to me to lose what I earned.

Because they can. If they never expired, you could rack up 500 creds at Pilot, then spend your fuel money at TA whilst getting free showers at Pilot. Credit expiration keeps you hungry.
-
I can see them expiring and not racking up, but only 7 days? Give me 30 days before they expire. I am only out maybe 2 nights a week and home on weekends, so I could use a little longer expiration time. Just sayin

Nothing's really fair at a truck stop. It's basically a captive audience and ya can either deal or move on to next one if you can find parking there.
Kinda like the bizarre monopoly "wandering wifi"has with pfj, ta , and loves.
That company imo should have a class action suit filed against them! -
I'm right below you with an average 8 shower credits on my Pilot card. Even after taking 5 days off each month at home, I still have at least 4 shower credits when I come back out .

Get a mifi or an air card from your cell provider, and never have to pay for wif service at a truck stop , that may or may not work, yet you won't find out , until you go to log on.
Mifi/ air card, have internet where ever you have cell service. -
Yeah I have a hotspot with my provider sprint. But their 4g service is marginal in alot of areas.
So most times it's as bad as the ts. I know verizon's coverage is better but they can't beat or meet the price I pay for sprint's plan. -
You... get what you pay for?
