hard start for MBE 2004

    i have Freightliner with MBE OM 460 LA engine that is hard starting, no check engine light, only ABS tractor light is on, and no codes shown when scanned with a nexiq graph scanner.it starts only when you spray diesel into the air filter. did a compression test with the scanner, and got these readings: #1cyl=99.21%,#2cyl=100%,#3cyl=99.21%,#4cyl=85.93%,#5cyl77.34% and #6cyl=61.71% I'm confused on the way forward

    do you have any external fuel leaks - don,t go by the comp readings as mcm will try to compensate cylinders for starting

    no fuel leak, have checked every thing but now it throws up codes pid102 fmi3 and sid 146 fmi7
