was out of a truck for a yr.

    got hired and went out.

smaller company with a small terminal in my area.

    no refresher course or trainer.

    no problem at all.

If you want to shake off some of the rust and get used to a 10 speed contact a local driving school, and make sure they have a 10 speed. If they don't ask them who in the area does, likely they'll know. I have been out 13 years and trying to get back in. I rented a truck and instructor 2hrs for $200. Within 20 minutes I was fine. So I know I will be fine for road test. Only challenege is getting a local company to hire me.

yeah I wouldn't want to go back with a trainer, I'm bascially thinking I just need a few minutes to get used to the truck before the test, I used to work with Conway and they said they will hire me back and don't even have to go to orientation just show up and get assigned a truck, hoping to do western 11 with Andrus, but if I have to go with a trainier again, I would just go back to conway probably

I came back after taking about a year and a half off. Biggest readjustment was sleeping in my truck instead of with my wife every night. Ohh and the first few curbs got rubbed too LOL

    Numb Thanks this.

with Andrus, I can't say you won't go out with a trainer, but unlikely. Also trust me. You will not have an issue with the road test.
