I thought so, but I am sometimes surprised by local laws. Come to think of it, the length was probably a problem as well. Trailer + load can't exceed 53' for multiple pieces. Good thing you didn't go to jail for that one.

15' 6" wide, 74,000# net from Everett, WA to Detroit, MI



18' wide from Montreal, PQ to Charleston, SC



10' wide jet engine from Victorville, CA to Dallas, TX

 

Not heavy and not all that wide but some gravy 5 axle freight and a few from the deployments. View attachment 44648
