If its that warehouse at the end of a long road next to a rail yard, with a port at the end of it, you can park just before you get to the building. BE ADVISED the rail yard is active all night long

    Evil_E Thanks this.

Yep. Found it. The gate was open....rail yard seems pretty quiet right now. However, the trucks showing up here to spend the night is growing by the minute. Thanks for the heads up on the trains...I'm sure I will get woke up shortly and freak out for a second....even though I'm 50' from the nearest track. Lol

Does anyone get any loads (in or out) of the Huntsville/ Decatur, Alabama area? I'm from that area and looking at getting into trucking after my time with the military is up. Thanks for any info.

I talked to a recruiter today and I stay in SC and he told me that I would have to run all 48 states because they don't have any regional openings

That's how it was for me living in Milwaukee, WI. I'm on the very edge of their hiring area so my options were Glass or TCD which run 2 weeks minimum. If I went flatbed I would not be guaranteed to be home every weekend.

A while back, I was on here complaining about how I wish I could get a really long run, and have an entire day to do nothing but DRIVE all day (instead of an unload, drive 100m, do a load, drive 300 miles, and unload, like nearly everyday). Well..... I got my wish. Everyonce in a blue moon our division gets this crazy elevator (and parts) load out of Danville, IL. This one is going to Prospect, CT. COOL! I never been there. Total paid miles 1087! The only thing that I did not like was actually having to pull out the lumber tarps and tarp this load in the 30+mph winds this morning. That sucked.I haven't even SEEN a lumber tarp in like a year and 2 months. But hey! Now I feel like I am back in the RAT Pack! Just thought I'd gloat for a minute. LOL
