I've been checking out loads in this area on a daily basis for a long time. First time I have seen it jump from around 30 something loads to 68 loads today. In a 50 mile radius.
Landstar loads in Huntsville,Al and Fayetteville,TN area really jumped today.

is that flatbed?
-
I counted 26 flatbed loads. That's a mixture of 53ft,48ft,flat that are listed. I was surprised to see such a big jump in loads in this area.

Click on the agency code and it will give you their phone number. I'm sure they would be glad to let you know all the info on the load.

Some days the lumber loads clog up the boards.
8 brokers all posting the same $1/mi 48K 8ft drop load every hour. Sometimes even make a second posting with the name of a nearby bigger city. -
I watch the Fayetteville,TN area in a 50 mile radius everyday. It was very unusual for the loads to jump to 69 total. A normal day ranges 24 to 32 loads. That was the biggest spike I've seen in about a year. I don't know the rates of the loads. I just figure a lot of companies are trying to push excess inventory out. Since, April 1st is the beginning of the new year for them. And they don't want the extra tax burden of the excess inventory.
