2000 Volvo AC

    AC clutch will not kick in I can ground unit and Compressor will run. I have replaces controller unit on outside firewall and inside (push on push off) switch (it will give the green light in center) , Diagnostic Controller showing Green Flashing Normal

    '00 Volvo got no climat control. So problem in switch in cab ore wiring to compressor control unit

    Thanks I will try to trace down wiring, do you Know where I can get a wiring diagram for that circuit

    and also the clutch will kick in on start up then kick out

    really there is A/C pressure switch, so compressor kicks up and out

    I replaced low side switch I have power through the switches (Jumper across low side still will not work) Does EEC have anything to do with the AC

    volvo a/c are very simple and friendly to diagnose on version1 . fist, disconnect de apads module and put power 12 volt on pin h(green wire). your a/c should run, doing this , you by-pass all the input coming from the cab, if a/c run with 12 volt on pin h, it's a cold switch problem or diode behind heater control. if a/c do not run, mostly an open circuit in the wiring of a/c compressor or switch

    sorry for the mistake i made, do not disconnect apads to power pin h,

    How much pressure should the refrigerant have on the gauges when you are checking it?
